200th Street Interchange
Langley, British Columbia
The 200th Street Interchange was the first single-point diamond interchange constructed in British Columbia. It connects Highway 1 with 200th Street and 88th Avenue. It provides the principal access from the TransCanada Highway to Langley and the Golden Ears Bridge Crossing of the Fraser River and is a major interchange for commercial vehicles in the eastern Metro Vancouver area. .
CJI advised on the complex technical issues associated with the design concept and assisted in determining whether the design was safe and effective while meeting British Columbia Highway standards. CJI made recommendations to ensure detailed resolution of technical and contractual issues which were critical to the success of the project.
